Chinese New Year – Year of the Rooster

It is about to be the Year of the Rooster so pack up the kids and join Sceptre in celebrating the most important holiday in Chinese culture, the Lunar New Year!  Traditionally , homes were thoroughly cleaned to leave behind bad fortunes and to welcome the forthcoming, and hopefully prosperous, New Year. More commonly today, family members come together for a special dinner as a symbol of strength and unity.   After the meal is finished, it is time for some fun and there is no better way to kick off the New Year celebration than at the World Journal Lunar New Year Festival!
